🙂 Happy New week!

Lol! not sure what that means but since it’s our custom to wish happy new everything; I just wished you mine.

This week’s post is a breakfast recipe, one you can try this weekend. Very easy, very simple and you don’t have to go to Shoprite :-).

This recipe is a healthy one, you can use wheat flour for the pancakes and please, yoghurt is good for you because of it’s anti-bacterial properties and you can skip the use of syrup.

What you will need.

Ingredients: (8 pancakes)

2 cups flour

2 cups vanilla yoghurt (Farm fresh)

2 eggs

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

2 tablespoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

8 teaspoons vegetable oil

NO WATER (the yoghurt and egg are your only liquid)



Mix the flour, cinnamon, baking powder and sugar together.

Add the yoghurt to the flour mixture,  whisk the 2 eggs and add them last.


Heat a teaspoon of oil in a frying pan and fry. Try not to turn until the top has bubbles, I use a cute little egg frying pan so the pancakes aren’t too wide.

Fry until golden brown and you are ready to enjoy!
