Hello there!

Summer recipes ended Friday last week and I’ve just realised why l was sad… all the summer recipes were a first for me and being an adventurous person, It’s super exciting trying out new recipes especially when sugar and colourful ingredients are involved! Lol! I don’t deny being a sweet tooth! :-).

Today’s recipe is easy and colourful with hardly any fuss. The main ingredient, Knorr Roast meat gravy powder is one quick way to get lunch or dinner going!

Originally intended to be eaten with roasted meat, it has a rich taste which when combined with goat meat is simply flavourful.

Here we go!

Ingredients:

1 pack Knorr roast meat gravy

10 pieces goat meat

2 medium sized green pepper

Lots of baby carrots  (approximately 20 pieces)

2 tablespoons corn flour

1 tablespoons soy sauce

4 cups water

1 medium sized onions

1 Knorr cube

Salt to taste

Method:

Wash the meat and spice with 1 Knorr cube, a pinch of salt and sliced onions.

Wash and cut the carrots in rings, the green pepper in small squares.

Mix the corn flour with 1 1/2 cups of water and set aside.

Once the meat is cooked, drain it from the stock and turn off heat. If the meat stock is up to 1 cup of water- 250ml, pour in the content of the gravy pack while it’s still hot and mix properly leaving no lumps.

Now turn on the heat again and add the corn flour. As soon as your gravy mix boils add 1 tablespoon of Soy sauce.

Allow to boil for about 10 minutes then add the carrots , green pepper and meat.

Depending on how thick you want it, add 1 1/2 cups of water to make it loose.

Let it boil for 5 minutes and you are ready to enjoy a healthy meal!
